BUY BIG, PAY LESS!

Makro should be the place where a consumer goes for unique benefits in bulk packaging and with competitive prices. However, not every shopper was aware of this.

Therefore, we were tasked with helping create a robust, foolproof discount concept that could be implemented multiple times a year. It had to contain easily interchangeable communication and still maintain quality.

We were given carte blanche to establish a solid concept in the first store within 3 weeks. This concept became “Buy big, pay less.” The communication is characterized by compelling photography and easily understandable, sharply priced offers displayed on robust scaffolding material.

Emphasizing the value in a grand manner was crucial to make consumers stop again. The fact that Makro still uses the "Buy big, pay less" concept prominently in all its stores proves the success of the campaign.
